Now that the New Year has started and the doctor has cleared me to do light work outs even though I’m only 4 weeks postpartum, I have started my list of runs I’d like to complete this year. This year I think I’m going to aim to complete 2,015 miles as part of a challenge that David and I are going to complete together and 15 5k+ runs if possible. Now having a newborn I know this will make the runs a little more difficult to complete as strollers are always allowed but I will do my best to find baby friendly runs. Included in my fit & lean in 2015 set David and I are going for a trifecta so we need lots of training! Yesterday was my first official run of 2015 and though it was a struggle it went fairly well and I’m already looking forward to the rest of the year. Here is my line up so far:
Spartan Race – Sprint
The Flavor Run – 5k
Froyo Run – 5k
Kiss me I’m Irish Run – 4k/8k
Phoenix Pride Run & Walk – 5k/10k
Warrior Dash – 5k
Spartan Race – Super
Whiskey Row Marathon – 10k/2mile
Spartan Race – Beast
Hot Chocolate Run – 5k/11k
Once runs for later in the year are up I will add them to the list as well! What are your goals for 2015?
